Quest paths?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'm trying to make a quest whereby the students must complete several prior tasks, in any order, before they can complete the final task.  I know I can make it linear, but I'm trying to make it so that a student must complete 7 tasks (any order) and once all are done, they can go for task 8.

Is there a way to do this, or can someone think of a good workaround?

Thanks!
Leon

Okay... I think I have a temporary(?) work around.  I've created a "staging area" task.

So I have tasks 1-7 go to task 8 (staging area). Task 8 then goes to task 9.  Is there a better way?

I've been experimenting with this idea a bit myself, I will be trying it live with my students in a day or two.

Since the self pacing seems to focus more on the check marks I've made quest hub that branch to the "allowed" activities using the check marks. The next set of activities are cut of with the red X's. Once I see that the first set of activities are competed to an appropriate level, I can activate the x to move them to the next hub/set of activities.

Not sure if that's what you are looking for, but thought I'd share just in case. Good luck.
