Importing Daily Events - Major Difficulties

I have an old class that I have curated a list of daily events.  I want to import those, and ONLY those, into my new classes for the 21/22 school year but it does not seem to work.  I had over 200 events that were placed in the class when I created it last week, and I could not figure out a way to delete them all at once so I manually (could not believe I had to do that) deleted each one.  Now I have 3 classes with 0 events and my "Daily Event List" class that has the ones I want.  I go to Import Settings, select only the event tab, and Click the button.  Nothing happens.  What can I do to fix this?
