[Solved] Points for early submission added to assignment points?

Hi, I am using a Quest and enabled the early submission bonus. Are the early submission points added to the assignment points, or are they given instead of the assignment points? I need to know in order to make sure the early submissions receive more.

Pretty sure it is "Extra" like "Extra Credit" for being early.  I haven't done it, but that's how I see the settings.

Jeff, you are correct! If a student hands in her or his work early, he or she will get the early reward (for submitting ahead of time), and the "on-time" hand-in reward (for submitting work before the cut-off date/time).
