[Solved] Newbie here with some doubts that I can't find in the FAQ/guides

Hey there! First of all, I'd like to congratulate everyone for the hard work poured in classcraft. It's an amazing tool!

Now, I have a couple of issues. I apologise in advance if they've been explained before, but I have failed to find the information.

I've been looking here and there, and it says that the default AP regeneration is +27 AP. In my class, this is set to +11 AP - however, with my young students I think this setting is too fast-paced. Practically they can ellude any negative consequence if they have a healer in the team, and everyone's okay by the next day. I would like them to think a little bit more about skill usage and lower the AP regeneration, but I haven't found anywhere if there's a chance to set a customised value in that field.

Is there a way to do it without having to create a new class from the start? If this is an option too, I would take it, but I wasn't sure if importing my students they would lose their progress and I don't want that happening.

Besides of that, I've been having a lot of trouble accepting the parents invitations. It gets stuck loading, and by the end of it they really haven't been accepted.

Thank you so much for your attention!

Hey Coral,

Thanks for the kind words. Here are a few answers I think you'll find helpful.

1. The AP regen rate is fully customizable ("Configure Class" (the gear icon at the bottom of the left sidebar) > Game Rules). Alternatively, from the Game Rules, you can set the amount of time you have your students for during the school year/semester and that will automatically adjust the game for you. I'd be curious to see where you found the "+27AP" figure. That would basically fully regen the AP for some classes, which you're right, doesn't make any sense.

2. Once you accept the parent once, it sometimes takes a few seconds for the server to update and for the request to be processed. Rest assured that the first time you accept, it's been done. Anything else you see there is just a visual glitch.

I hope this helps! If there is anything else I can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask! We're always more than happy to help out.

Aah, I can see it now! It was just in front of me. Thank you so much for clearing it up!

That figure appears in this screen, in the following article. Somehow I got the idea that that's the default for multi-class students. It isn't going to be my case though, but there is where I found said information.

Hearing about the parent's approval is also a big relief. I got also word from them that it's working just fine, so it's solved as well.

It's been really helpful and such a quick reply too, thank you so much for your attention and kindness solving my questions.

Hey, Carol!

I'm happy it was helpful. :)

I do see how that screenshot could be confusing, so I'll put in a request to have it changed so the numbers shown are a little more reasonable. Thank you so much for pointing it out and sharing the article and screenshot. 😉
