Un hiver terrible - Grade 8 Math & Language Arts Quest (français)

I translated / adapted a wonderful storyline from Amanda Moore (see her post here)

The story instructs students to search out the magical artifacts that will help them to end the terrible winter that has fallen on their land. In order to do so, they complete activities in Math class ranging from online content to a quiz. Halfway through, however, I've had them stop and write a short story describing one of their adventures. My students have been loving the work-at-your-own-pace nature of our first quest of the year!

J'ai traduit / adapté une histoire merveilleuse d'Amanda Moore (voir son information ici)

L'histoire demande aux étudiants de rechercher les artefacts magiques qui les aideront à mettre fin au terrible hiver qui est tombé sur leur terre. Pour ce faire, ils complètent des activités en classe de mathématiques allant du contenu en ligne à un quiz. À mi-chemin, cependant, je les ai arrêtés pour écrire une courte histoire décrivant une de leurs aventures. Mes élèves ont aimé la nature «travail à votre rythme» de notre première quête de l'année!
