Do I create the code or does the system generate the code for students?

Hi Keith!

When adding new students, the game will create student codes that you can then distribute to your students. I hope this helps!

Hi Francesca,

You can either consult our knowledge center page on adding student for a detailed walkthrough: https://help.classcraft.com/hc/en-us/articles/228005548-Adding-students-to-your-classes

Or follow these steps to create a class (or add students in your case):

1) On the teacher homepage, click "New Class" and enter a name and your class duration.
2) Next, add your students. You can enter their names manually, copy paste a list from Word or Excel, import your roster from Google Classroom, or import students already playing from the Student Database (from your other classes or other teachers' if you're connected via Teacher Connect).
3) Complete the set-up by adding teams and either emailing student codes or printing the handouts.

Your students can then go to game.classcraft.com/student and create an account using their student code. However, if they already have an account, they can log in and go to their profile (game.classcraft.com/profile) to enter the class code you can give them by clicking on the bubble on the class card and choosing the 'Class code' option.
