Moving up a grade level with my students

Hi all!

I am moving up to 7th grade after teaching 6th grade, thus I will have many repeat students.  I am considering whether to utilize classcraft with 7th graders, would it be effective? Would they get bored with it?  What are your thoughts?

I teach high schoolers and they don't get bored with it. (well, most don't, but those few that do are boring people themselves.)

I've had the chance to teach a few a second time in a different class and they usually enjoy playing again a second time.

So I believe your students will enjoy themselves. And if you get to teach some of the same kids and archive their current characters, they should be able to create new characters where they can access unlocked pets from their previous character, regardless of class!

I have 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students, many of whom I could have for three years (of different length courses). This is my first 2nd year in a building using ClassCraft; however, I archived my previous students and will restart them. I keep it fresh by changing the Power options a little for 8th grade, adding more Random Events every year, and encouraging them to try out a different Character Type.

I will be interested to see how my repeat students strategize and coach the new students on how to get the most out of the system...
