[Solved] Students can't complete character setup

I have several students that were in a class previously. I archived the class and chose NOT to import any settings. 

All of my 'existing' students, hang at a pinwheel after selecting a 'team icon and background', however the new students to the class were able to successfully complete registration. 

I manually can create the characters, however anyone have any idea why it would hang during creation?

I verified they were using Chrome to do this.
