Navigating the Classcraft interface
In Classcraft, there are two main views where you can access most of Classcraft’s features. The teacher home page is where you can find and access all of your classes. The Class Dashboard is where you manage a specific class of yours, such as giving Experience Points or using the Class Tools.

When you first log in, this is where you’ll land! Your home may be a little bit different if you have a school license or have already been playing for a while, but most of these elements should be visible.
If you have a school license, you may notice some classes were created for you or that the original Create class button was replaced by a Begin setup button. This means that the setup was started through your school’s student information system.
Click Begin setup to start the setup process!
Tip: Don’t want to use some of these classes? Click the ... button and select Hide class. Find your hidden classes in your profile menu!
If you’re co-teaching a class with another teacher, it will appear in My classes but will be a little different from your other classes, you’ll also have more limited options.
You can access the Demo Class from the Classcraft Playground section, if you’ve just started using Classcraft, or you can find it below your class list. It comes pre-populated with fake students and lets you try all the features.
In the Demo Class, you can try all of the Premium features, which can help you decide if Premium is made for you!
You can learn more about the Demo Class here.

About mobile
Whether you use the companion app (available on the Apple Store and Google Play), you’ll see the same mobile interface. Classcraft is made to adjust automatically to the device you’re using. The available sections of the application should look very similar to the experience you would have on the desktop.
The following sections are available on mobile:
- Teacher: Positive and negative behavior intervention
- Teacher: Messaging
- Teacher: Powers
- Student: Quests
- Student: Gear
- Student: Pet training
- Student: Character view
Certain elements of the interface may become smaller or work slightly differently when accessing Classcraft on a mobile device. For instance, on the Class Dashboard, the sidebar navigation may be folded to enable you to view more students at once. To view the sidebar navigation bar, touch the menu button in the top left corner.
