Messaging is an easy and convenient way to communicate with your child’s teacher.

With class announcements, a teacher can send out messages to all parents of students in your child’s class. Announcements are one-way messages, meaning you cannot respond to them. 

On the other hand, your child's teacher can also message you privately. And you can do the same:

1. Click on the speech icon in the sidebar navigation
2. Find the name of the teacher on the list (check the class name to be sure!)
3. Enter a message in the text box — you can even send attachments from Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, and files from your computer

A purple checkmark beside a message indicates that your child's teacher has read it.

This is a great way to keep in touch with your child's teacher throughout the school year!
