Quests Overview

Quests enable teachers to turn their lesson plans into personalized, self-paced learning adventures for students to embark upon in the game. Your entire curriculum can take the form of an interactive map — each point representing an activity or resource that must be completed to go further.

To access Quests:

  1. On your homepage, click Play on the class you want to use Quests with
  2. Click the Quests pin icon in the sidebar navigation 

Note that if you're not in the Exploration phase yet, the icon won't be displayed in your menu.

The Quests interface displays the Classcraft's world map along with any quest you've created already positioned on the map.

Here are the main elements and functionality of the Quests section:

1. Create a new quest

Click this button, then anywhere on the map to place a quest and start creating it. Learn more about creating quests here.

2. Filter quests

Decide which quests you want to see on the world map: quests that are visible to your students, quests that are not yet visible, or all your quests.

3. Access My Library

This button enables you to quickly access the Quests section of My Library.

4. Access the Quests Marketplace

This button enables you to quickly access the Quests Marketplace where you can find Quests published by other educators.

5. Visible quest

Quests with a purple pin are currently visible to your students. Click on its pin to access a quest. Click on a quest pin, hold, and drag, to move it around the map!

6. Invisible quest

Quest with a gray pin are currently not visible to your students. Click on its pin to access a quest. Click on a quest pin, hold, and drag, to move it around the map!

7. Quest name

Whether your quest is visible or not, its name appear below the pin.
